In a free-flowing interview with The Neutral view Mr. National Universe 2018 Farhan Qureshi spoke about his incredible journey and his life after winning the pageant

Q1. First of all many congratulations to you for winning the Audi Goa Rubaru Mister India 2018 title. How does it feel?

Thank you so much for recognizing my efforts. It’s a matter of pride to be known by the name of your country. To be honest, after scanning my heart’s thesaurus, “Surreal” is the word most suitable for explaining how I feel being “Audi Goa Rubaru Mister National Universe India 2018” and making up to Top- 5 position in International’s.

 

Q2. What was your reaction when they announced your name at the grand finale of the Audi Goa Rubaru Mister India 2018 pageant in Goa?

My heart almost popped out on hearing my name at the grand finale of the Audi Goa Rubaru Mister India 2018 pageant in Goa.  The feeling of gratitude and happiness was rushing through my veins. That day is engraved in my heart forever.

 

Q3. How does it feel to get associated and also becoming the face of India’s biggest and oldest surviving annual male pageant?

It’s my privilege to be the part of the best. Rubaru Mister India is the only most successful national male pageant which provides chances to many models to represent India in various international pageants. Rubaru Mister India made me who I am, today. One can only imagine how proud, honored and elated I am, to be the face of Rubaru Mister India.

 

Q4. How has your journey been so far with the Rubaru Mister India Organization?

Honestly, words cannot do justice for my experience and journey so far with the Rubaru Mister India Organization. It has been incredibly wonderful and overwhelming. It has given me the best moments of my life which I am going to cherish throughout my life.

 

Q5. What are the responsibilities that come with this prestigious title and how hard it is to fulfill those responsibilities and also to live up to the expectations that have been set on you?

 

With the title comes so many responsibilities and likewise, I made sure to crown that responsibility with all my efforts towards making India, a better country than it already is. Being the face of the prestigious title not only provided me the platform to influence others to become their better self but also, to help voice their opinions. When you are not known by your name but your country’s name, it fills you with immense pride and makes you realize all your responsibilities. It is overwhelming but, also very challenging to live up to the expectations of 1,342,512,706 people because, for once it’s not just about you but India.

 

Q6. This year the Rubaru Mister India pageant celebrated their fifteenth anniversary and you are the fifteenth Rubaru Mister India title holder. How do you feel about that?

Like I said, it is my privilege and honor to be part of the best organization. It was indeed wonderful and fun to celebrate 15 years of Rubaru Mister India pageant in Goa. With the 15th edition in Goa with all the pageant activities, Rubaru group has really raised the standards so high for all the aspiring participants. I am overwhelmed, content and glad that I am the fifteenth Rubaru Mister India title holder which witnessed the best edition in Goa, so far. I am truly very lucky for being a part of it.

 

Q7. What do you think are the qualities that are required to be Mr India?

To be a Mr India is a lot more complicated than just being physically attractive. It is not only important to be beautiful outside but a lot of what you need to be Mr. India comes from within. Your ethics, sophistication, politeness, humbleness and uniqueness makes you stand out from the crowd and of course, your fit mind and body justifies what it takes to be Mr. India.

 

Q8. Your biggest support in life.

My family especially, my Mom and Dad is the biggest support in my life. For me, my family is over everything. My parents inspire me. They made me who I am today. I believe that with their blessings, I can achieve everything and anything.

 

Q9. Any quote or saying that has profound impact on you.

 “It is not on the stars to hold our destiny it is in us” is the quote which motivates me a lot.

 

Q10. Any message for your well-wishers and supporters who are reading this interview.
