Margao (Goa): “Positive atmosphere has now developed within Goa and Goans and the reason is the able leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the centre” said MP Narendra Sawaikar while listing out he achievements of Modi Government on its 3rd anniversary.

In a press conference addressed at Margao Member of Parliament of South Goa Narendra Sawaikar said “National Institute of Technology in Cuncolim, Construction Regulatory Zones land use laws and Environment issues as well as completion of works adopted villages will be my priority for the next years”. Narendra Sawaikar said.

MP Narendra Sawaikar, South Goa BJP Chief Sarvanand Bhagat, Zilla Parishad Member Ulhas Tuenkar and Councillor Rupesh Mahatme were present at the briefing.

Sawaikar attributed the 80 to 85% schools of South Goa having got their own toilets is because of Swacch Bharat Mission of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also told that Out of 4.5 lakh LPG Consumers of Goa 42 thousand have given up on subsidy.

Sawaikar said that he has been successful to complete 50% of his manifesto promises.

MP Sawaikar told that he has written to the Rail Minister to extend the termination point of the train till Margao. There has been increasing demand to extend it from Karmali.
