TNV: When and how did you begin modelling? Were you studying or working before then?

AK: I begin modelling 4 years back when i was studying it was not preplanned but it just happened to me when I was working out in gym someone came to me and ask if I want to do ramp walk for him I said yes and it was an amazing experience and that’s the breakthrough I was studying in tecnia institute doing my BBA from there when I get this opportunity.

TNV: Why modelling when you could have settled in for a more stable permanent career?

AK: modelling over anything and everything. u can be stable u can be like 9-5 person with money but people don’t know u it’s just a simple life that every other person is living. modellling specially Rubaru Mr India its a huge platform which can change my entire life . what i want from life the fame only this pegeant can give me. so its very simple for me to chosing this over anything .

TNV: Tell me about your first assignment, if any, how did it happen? What was the experience like?

AK: My first assignment was in 2014 . i used to go in a gym it was a pretty nice place where all high class people used to come . one day I was working out there was a couple who used to see me evryday one day they came to me and ask if I can do them a favour and I said ok ill try and I just bang that. that was a very big event where sonu sood was showstopper and it was a great show so thts my first assignment for what i was paid for .

TNV: What do you feel makes you a good model? Your face? Your body? Your attitude? As opposed to others?

AK: A good model needs everything to be on point from a good body, face , hairs to a good attitude , freindly behaviour and I feel I got everything what a good model needs from face height to the attitude of a winner respecting others and their feeling . am not different from other all are my brothers who are competing but am sure better than others for sure.

TNV: Why Rubaru Mr India when there are so many local pageants happening ??

AK: Rubaru Mr India over all peagent this is the simplest question . it’s similar to asking someone why iPhone over mi or Vivo obviously its a big name and a huge platform winning this can easily change my life from 0 to 100 overnight. we all are living just to make a mark and this is the only thing which can make a mark people will start knowinh u the fame the name wat else u want.

TNV: Did Mr. India just happen to you along the way – or were you preparing to take part in the pageant?
AK: it’s like almost 4 years am preparing for it . earlier I was in Mr India times group and was not take it to finals and from there I started learning my weak point where to work on my weak points.

TNV: Tell us about how you train for it. What is the regimen like? What are the challenges involved?

AK: Yes, to be good model obviously u have to be lean and fit . so for that u have to take strict diet and workout regulary . its like working out in gym for 3 hours daily one hour cardio and body part u cant skip ur diet and workout . the most challenging thing is diet , as i belong to a vegetarian family and i have to eat chicken evryday to make my protein i have to make it evryday boiled one .so i have just seprated all my utensils and all kitchen equipment to my floor and keep then there . thats a bit of struggle to wash them and make meal in the morning evryday

TNV: What makes you feel you should be the chosen one? What’s different about you as a contestant?

AK: A good model doesn’t not have only one quality it is like a whole package of qualities he should have . and ihave all the things u r kooking for from good looks , height personality to a good public behaviour . am diffrent from other fellow contestant my leadership qualities , my convincing behaviour to a good and freindly nature .

TNV: How will winning the Mr India pageant will go to affect your life?

AK: it will change my life completly i can tell u from the changes from the day i have chosen as a finalist till now i can see changes people start giving more respect . after winning the fame ull get opportunities to represent india after winning and the world will know u who u are , it gives goosebumps to think of the day winning it .

TNV: What are your views on ‘Save Girl Child’ campaign?

AK: Its a great initiative by rubaru group to educate ans bring awareness amongst then about girl child . its really bad to see still in many parts of our country girls still treated as secindary they are not given the status same a boy in family enjoy . girls are the impotant part of society and they should be given equal status and should get all the things wat a boy in family enjoy . in modern areas this problem has been overcome but in some backward areas still people feels giving birth to girl child is bad . various programmes have been made by the goverment like beti bachao beti padhao , save girl child , . in backward areas we should go and educate them about this . people there are not aware of this they still think giving birth to girl leads to dowry. but they should know girls are enjoying equal status in evry area . be it army , air , police , politics they are standing tall , we should demnstrate this with the exampls of some big names like geeta phogat , babita phogat , jwala gutta , pratibha patil , and lots of big names so they should start educate them .
