To Celebrate World Theatre Day Expression Lab launches a new online network of theatre groups for creating a shared inventory of Setting Material and Props. We are announcing the launch today because we are now ready with the Beta version of the website that will actually enable the sharing.

Through SETSHARE a theatre group seeking setting or props will visit our website and browse through the available setting material and props there. With help of the contact information for the material they choose, they can decide on the logistics themselves. A detailed description of the entire process will be made available soon. At present we have begun uploading all the data that we have already received. We plan to launch the actual website soon with all these details from 25 provider institutions/individuals.

We now invite theatre groups to join this network. If you’re a theatre group that owns some setting material and props, we are looking for you. For the first 25 groups, we will help them upload all their data about the setting and props that they wish to make available for such sharing.

We believe that this network facility will ease out the logistical factors involved in matters related to set movement in case of touring groups or ease out the budget factors for newer groups in the same towns/ cities of providers.

Expression Lab is glad to launch this innovative concept by Pradeep Vaiddya with help of a brilliant theatrewalla, Jaydeep Apte who developed the website beta version and will be taking care of all the programming. The logo and graphic designs are the creation of Aniruddha Hardikar.
