Panaji (Goa): Bollywood singer Abhijit Bhattacharya who was supposed to attend All India Hindu Convention could not make it during eleventh hour, but has supported the cause.

“I am associated with Hindu, Hindutva and Hindustan. I will follow your footsteps,” the 58-year-old singer has said in a video message sent to the organizers of the convention.

“I am feeling bad that I am not able to participate in the convention due to some unavoidable circumstances,” said the singer in his 40-second-long video message which has been circulated by the organizers.

The convention which is being participated by around 130 Hindu organizations has stirred controversy after one of the participant Sadhvi Saraswati demanded that beef people should be hanged in public.
