SIX SCHOOLS GET LAND FROM GOVT, WHO CHARGES RS 1PER SQ MTS RENT

Panaji (GOA): The State government allots around 10,000 sq mtrs of land each to total six schools for a lease period of 33 years.

The land is allotted at a rent of Rs one per sq mtrs for 33 years, which will be renewed accordingly.

The schools include Mushitfund Saunstha (9,347sq mtrs), Dr KB Hedgewar (9,517 sq mtrs), Rosary Education Society ( 5,532 Sq. mtrs), Vasantrao Dempo Higher Secondary School (10,000 Sq. mtrs), Srinivas Sinai Dempo College of Commerce and Economics (10,090 Sq. mtrs.) and Anjuman Nurul Islam High school ( 5,977 Sq. mtrs).
