FC Goa’s first ever Soccer School programme was concluded today, present on the occassion were FC Goa’s hometown stars- Laxmikant Kattimani, Ali Mohammed, Seriton Fernandes, Liston Colaco and Brandon Fernandes.
They participated in a tournament with all the kids on the final day and gave away certificates and footballs to all the participants.
“The objective of the programme was to continue building and developing young Goan talent,” said a club official.
The school was open to girls and boys between the ages of 7 to 14.
The Soccer School, which ran for a month, gave many children the opportunity to enjoy and learn from trained grassroots coaches from Forca Goa Foundation.
