Panaji (Goa) Nearly 20,261 students appeared for the SSC examination which began in Goa today.  

Total 20,261 students are appearing for the examination today which are being held across 27 centres. The examination will conclude on April 12.

There is an increase of about 2889 students compared to the last year who will be appearing for the examination. Samant said that of the total 20,261 students, 10,163 are boys while 10,098 are girls.

The parents and students were seen lined up to see the seating arrangements for the examination near the centres. Police have kept presence near all the centres.
