Margao (Goa): Maina Curtorim Police arrested a person for attempting robbery of a temple at Curtorim.
The robber Gokul Pawar aged 31 on 15th night cut the grills of the window of the Shripad Shrivallabh temple and effected entry into the premises. He then attempted to rob the donation box. The accused failed to extract money and then fled from the spot. The act was captured into the CCTV camera of the temple and the committee handed the footage to the police.
In the evening the accused was seen heralding in the area and was immediately arrested by the police. He has been booked for robbery and other sections of IPC and is placed under arrest.
