Panaji (Goa) With over 80,000 hits in first ten hours, the server controlling our website crashed yesterday, and for a change, we loved this major technical snag.
Goa’s own website with international reach www.theneutralview.com has become official and the only platform to vote for upcoming Rubaru Mr India contest which will be held between March 7-10 in the coastal state.
Total 24 participants from across the country are vying for the title which will give them entry into international contest to represent India. As the voting lines opened at 12 o’clock yesterday, we received massive traffic from across the globe, crashing our server.
The traffic continues even till now with our dedicated technical team of the professionals working managing to get the website back on the track.
But our regular readers who are getting their routine dose of happenings in Goa had to face inconvenience for a day and we are apologetic about it. The website is back now with a bang and a promise not to crash again, even as we anticipate more hits in the days to come.
