4. India at CWG, day 5: Medal tally increases with shooting, weightlifting
NEW DELHI: Day five of the 2018 Commonwealth Games at Gold Coast, Australia has begun on a brilliant note for India. In shooting, Jitu Rai won gold in the men’s 10m air pistol followed by bronze for Om Mitharval, and then came silver to teenager Mehuli Ghosh in the final of the women’s 10m air rifle event where defending champion Apurvi Chandela settled for bronze. 5. Dara Singh inducted in WWE Hall of Fame Legacy
NEW DELHI: Well known professional wrestler Dara Singh was on Saturday inducted in the WWE Hall of Fame Legacy.
The popular Indian Pehelwan wrestled in the 1940’s through 1983 and got in the ring with likes of Japanese pro-wrestling pioneer Rikidōzan, WWE legend Lou Thesz, whom he beat for the World championship. (Source TNN)

9. Max Verstappen lacked respect with Bahrain GP move, says Lewis Hamilton
Manama: Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton has accused Max Verstappen of lacking respect in trying to force his way past him in Sunday’s Bahrain Grand Prix.

10. Kimi Raikkonen’s car hits Ferrari mechanic after tire change
A Ferrari team mechanic was taken to the hospital for treatment after being struck by Kimi Raikkonen’s car during a botched tire change during the Bahrain Grand Prix on Sunday.
Raikkonen came in for his second tire change of the race after 36 of 57 laps, but the left rear tire was not secured properly. Raikkonen was given the green light to go but it was an unsafe release and, as he pulled away, his car hit one of the mechanics. (AP)
