Congress party today expelled its state spokesman Trajano D’Mello for anti party activities.
“At the meeting of the executive committee of Goa Pradesh Congress committee took strong notice and cognizance of the anti-party utternances, activities and acts of D’Mello,” says the press note released by party’s Goa Vice President M K Shaikh.
The party has said that the utterances of D’Mello amounts to maligning the party and damaging the dignity of the Goa Pradesh Congress committee through his motivated, unfounded and baseless statement.
D’Mello had asked for the sacking for Faleiro for his failure to form the government. The spokesman had made the statement after Congress General Secretary Digvijaya Singh had admitted that it was not a mistake to align with Goa Forward Party and its mentor Vijai Sardesai.
