AICC general secretary A. Chellakumar on Tuesday said that Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has been threatened by top BJP leaders.

Chellakumar said that a day before Rane quit Congress to join BJP in 2017, he (Rane) had spoken to him about the threats to him and his family.

“‘I want to save my family’. This is whatVishwajit told me 24 hours before leaving the party,” Kumar said.

However, the health minister has rubbished the claims made by AICC general secretary.
