Panaji (Goa) The long pending Tillari irrigation project involving Goa and Maharashtra will be completed soon, Minister for Water Resources Vinod Palyekar said as he failed to set any specific deadline for the same.

Congress MLAs Pratapsingh Rane and Jeniffer Monserrate, sought to know by when the project will be completed as it is long pending.

Rane even pointed out that most of the work in the Bicholim area is yet to be completed. He said that the project is long pending and needs to be completed at the earliest.

Replying to the same Palyekar said that only 10 kms work of the canal is pending and it will be completed soon.
