It was on April 15 this year that Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte clicked the computer button to launch the website and since then the footfalls of the visitors have not stopped.
Little over two months and we are now celebrating 1,00,000 hits. One lakh people visited our website, and our analysis says that half of the hits are from repeated persons while the other half is new clicks. This means the one who visits our website once, does it again and again. Tomorrow’s news has been a hallmark of our website today. We want to inform people what is happening in Goa much before any news channel or newspaper informs them. Recently we have added Pune section. This also makes us a national website.
Our team of journalists touring across the state, bring you fresh news from the field. Several times they are accompanied by pictures. Our efforts are to make sure that you get accurate news and in quick time. Trust is something that we never want to compromise on. We have to our credit, breaking several news including accident at Old Goa which killed five or Sanvordem bridge tragedy. All political news are broken by us, first. We have become market leaders in no time, and it was possible only due to your support.
During Panchayat election we ran a separate section for the candidates to help run their campaign. It received tremendous response. Through that we managed to reach to the villages of Goa.
The website runs on the principle of Goem, Goemkar, Goemkarponn and Goemkaranchyo Gazali. One lakh is just a beginning for us. We aim to touch ten lakh in no time
considering the love showered by you all.
We are now planning to launch full time in Pune followed by Mumbai and Delhi. This would be first Goa based national website. To compliment our efforts, we have our fortnightly magazine ‘The Neutral View’ which is also making waves in the world of print media.
