Sanguem (Goa): Yuvasena youth organization along with the active youths of Sanguem requested Sanguem Municipality to control the haphazard parking in the Sanguem market along with the markings and signboards to parking areas.

Yuvasena chairman Adv. Amar B. Naik along with Shailesh Naik, Narayan Masurkar, Madhu Gaonkar, Rupesh Naik, Satyandra Masurkar, Siddham Parkar, Yashwant Naik, Shrimant Rathod, and other active youths of Sanguem submitted a Memorandum to Sanguem Chairperson Suryadatt Naik.

The Memo pointed out, the market area is surrounded with several Government offices, bus stops, motorcycle, rickshaw and tempo stands, etc and therefore people are parking their vehicles on the roadside and on the bus stand area as the Municipality failed to the parking area. Even the internal roads are also used for negligent parking resulting in the roads being blocked by congested parking. Thus the parked vehicles are becoming a hurdle for the busses that are entering the bus stand and also for the public. Similar is the situation of the businesses located in the market.

Sanguem Municipality along with the traffic police failed to control the irregular and haphazard parking in the market and therefore Yuvasena demanded to control the parking system in the market along with the marking and signboards for vehicle parking in the market. Some copies are submitted to the Sanguem Mamlatdar, traffic police, and Dy. Collector’s office.
