GOA: GOVT ANNOUNCES INCENTIVES FOR 10 BEST PANCHAYATS HANDLING GARBAGE

Panaji (Goa) State Government today announced that the ten best performing village panchayats in handling garbage menace will be rewarded with Rs five lakh incentive every year.   Government has extended Goa Panchayats (Grants to Tackle Garbage Menace) Scheme till 2023, under which Rs two lakhs are provided as grants to the village panchayats towards garbage collection, segregation and disposal.
