GOA: MINOR FIRE BREAKS OUT AT UNDER CONSTRUCTION MANDOVI BRIDGE PIER
Panaji (Goa): A minor fire broke out today afternoon at pier 33 of the third Mandovi Bridge which is currently under construction. According to sources, a hessian cloth which was secured to the pier caught fire due to the short-circuit of a construction power cable. Due to timely action, the fire was contained and any further mishap was prevented.
